AZSB Neversummer Rental Fleet

Another career highlight project was the opportunity to design a 700-board fleet of rental snowboards in various shapes and sizes. For this design, I aimed to make a bold statement about snowboarding in Arizona. The board could not be heavily branded to Snowbowl, as rental fleets are often sold to other resorts once they are retired.

I wanted every photo of this board, every memory, and every lesson to reflect a snow sports experience unique to Arizona. The saguaro cactus felt like the perfect symbol to represent this vision.

A technical request from the rental department was for a directional design to aid in training and streamline operations. To accomplish this, we incorporated the phrase “Flowers in the Front, Birds in the Back.” This mnemonic was adopted to assist rental technicians in a fast-paced environment.

700 Units delivered in September 2024.
